Q: What should I look for when choosing a web designer?

Meeting in person isn't necessary, and we keep our web design prices low by cutting out the expense of traveling for meetings and maintaining a physical office.

Q: Can I maintain my own website after you've designed it?
A: Absolutely! We find that designing a website is the part that we enjoy most, and we don't mind handing over the day-to-day updates to you. We don't hold our clients hostage by designing a site that's too complicated to be edited by anyone but a professional. That said, there's a lot more to editing web pages than there is to creating a flyer in Word; it simply works differently. There will be a rather steep learning curve if you want to use an HTML editor like Microsoft Expressions or Adobe Dreamweaver, not to mention the expense of purchasing the software. Riotta.Com works with a programmer who can help set up your site so that it is relatively easy for you to maintain, and you won't have to learn any markup language. There is an additional cost for this, but you'll find that it's more economical than paying for the software necessary to edit your site.
